La Rumarosa Style

This is an example of the La Rumorosa style of rock art. It is associated with the Kumeyaay on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border.
The symbols drawn on the ceiling of this shelter belong to the La Rumorosa style with its emphasis on humanlike figures, sun circles, and other abstract designs.
